Q. What do I need to start?
A. Our Web Resume Portfolio is our entry product and provides you with the various templates and a full step-by-step wizard to help you build your Online Web Portfolio. Once this is completed you, and your prospective employer, will be able to view and download your resume in various formats.
You may create as many resumes as you wish but only one Web Resume may be active on-line at any one time for viewing. You may download any of your resumes at any time.

Q. Can I start with Web Resume Portfolio and add the optional services afterwards?
A. Of Course. Once you have signed up for the Web Portfolio you may add additional months of on-line hosting or our Professional Resume Writing service at any time.

Q. What do I get in my Web Portfolio Package?
A. Our Web Resume Wizard takes you through the step-by-step process of creating your resume. When this is completed you will be able to view your web portfolio on-line and also download it in PDF, DOC and TXT formats. You and your future employers will be able to view your web portfolio on-line for up to 12 months. Additional months are available for a small monthly charge.
You may create as many resumes as you wish but only one Web Resume may be active on-line at any one time for viewing. You may download any of your resumes at any time.

Q. Will I be still be able to access my resume after my 12 months have expired?
A. Yes, you will be able view, update and download your existing resumes even if your initial subscription has expired. However, you will not be able to view them as a web portfolio or add additional resumes.

Q. My experience is what matters. Why should I pay for a resume and cover letter?
A. Your experience will be the key factor in what kind of job you can get. We would never pretend that someone without a nursing degree, for example, could work as a nurse at a major hospital with a cleverly deceptive resume. However, your chances of landing jobs that are within your reach (and there are likely more than you think) can be affected by the content of your resume and cover letter. Q. How do I share my Web Resume with others?
The mechanism you'll use for sharing a Web Resume depends on its Password setting.
For example, if you give your Web Resume a password, you are restricting public access to your resume and will need to provide individuals with the password in order for them to view it. If your Web Resume password is set Blank anyone can view your web resume profile. You can include your member URL on your business cards or in your social network profile or email signature so anyone with an Internet connection can see your Web Portfolio.

Q. Tell me the good and the bad about my allowing people to view my Web Portfolio on-line?
A. First, the benefits: Leaving the password blank on your Web Resume lets anyone view it. That means people can find your Web Resume by using a search engine, and you can use your Web Resume’s URL on business cards, in your email signature, and on social networking and job board sites. Now, the drawbacks: Leaving the password blank on your Web Resume allows anyone to view your Web Resume—including harvester bots—just like anything else on the Internet that's public. In addition to personal information such as your home address and phone number, you may want to keep other information (such as your salary history) private until you are in deep discussions with a recruiter or employer who asks for this information. The most secure way to control who sees this information is to secure the portfolio with a password and only distribute this password to people you wish to share your resume with.

Q. Can I just send someone a link to my Web Resume?
A. Yes, your member web address (URL) points to your public Web Resume. You can use your member URL on business cards, in your email signature, in social network profiles and job boards, and even on your own web site to point others to your public Web Resume.

Q. What if I don't want anyone to see my Web Resume?
You control who can or cannot access your Web Resumes by securing it with a password known only to yourself.

Q. I like my resume and I don't want it totally altered. I just want some problems fixed. Will my resume writer be okay with that?
A. Your resume order can be a total reconstruction or a slight makeover. It's up to you. A. After signing up you will be able to use your email address and a password that you have chosen to access our database. On our homepage, once you log in, a new page will open with the questionnaire on it. Fill out the questionnaire with as much information as possible. When you have completed this, hit the submit button, and you will be taken to your client database page. You will then be able to upload your existing files and leave us comments using our message board.

Q. What if I do not have any existing documents to give you?
A. If you do not have an existing resume or cover letter, that's fine. Just fill out the questionnaire as thoroughly as possible, indicating the names of your employers, their locations, the dates you were employed by each company or organization, your title(s), your duties and accomplishments, and any relevant information about your education, volunteer experience, and other activities that you feel is important for us to know about. You are also always welcome to post a comment on our message board with additional information. The more information we have, the better!

Q. What format will be used to create my resume?
A. Your Web Portfolio will be updated to reflect your skill sets, experiences and background and once complete you will be able to download in various formats and share with future employees. In addition you may use this version as a template for other resumes that you may wish to tailor to suit other vacancies.

Q. Do I really need additional focused resumes and cover letters?
A. You should always use multiple versions of your documents carefully and may wish to tailor your resume or cover letter to suit various different job vacancies.
